Highlight was definitely three in Europe.
Hello everyone who may or may not ever see this because I haven't posted anything since ever! I return for an unspecified amount of time which might end up being like three days - who knows?
So I graduated back in May and did nothing all summer. BUT THEN. I went to work in the Netherlands with my friend from Scotland! And it sucked! So we went to work in Norway! And it was THE MOST FUN THING IN WORLD. We took care of Greenland sled dogs (not huskies but there was one husky that the kennel owner was taking care of for someone else and she had a little fur mohawk so we called her little husky Mohawk Girl) that were cute and fluffy and loved humans almost as much as they loved running. There was drama queen Lyla and sweet Nanook and little Charlie and excited Zanzi and her pacified roommate Covu and jumpy Åldevar and crazy Åldemor and loving/dog-show-award-winning Harry and shy Oi Ooi and gentlemanly Johansen and big huge Faith and the old couple Viit and Zero and and little bitty house dog Ranco who thought he was as big as all the others and omg I loved them all except badly-behaved Isak because he was a big pain. Not the other white Isak. He was sweet. The Isak with the black head. Everyone called him Black Head because there were two Isaks.
Then I spent Christmas in Edinburgh with my Scot friend's family. They were all delighted to hear that I was a McGorry.
Is good.
I unexcitedly came home the first week in January to my broken desktop that required a power supply replacement and a fresh install of Windows. My replacement PSU had arrived in the mail while I was away (covered by warranty, woo), but my Win 7 CD was stuck in my Macbook CD drive. Those things eat discs, you know. It was going to cost me $600 to fix my drive and retrieve the disc even though I had a $200 protection plan which became void because of ludicrous policies, so I said FUQ DAT and just bought a whole new copy of Windows... that was in the first couple weeks in Jan.
The best part is that my computer just randomly spit the disc out last night for no reason. I didn't press any buttons or anything. It just decided that I could have it back. Okay...thanks, I guess. Of course it had the traditional ring scratches that all Macbook disc drives bestow upon any CD housed inside them for longer than a day. Fuck these things, honestly.
Hi! ^_^
